While the serious shortage of park-units, the imbalance between supply and demand,the low utilization rate of the the public parking berth, the poor operating efficiency of thecity, the regulations for road parking are revealed beind the inreasingly serious problemof parking.In order to solve Comprehensivly the problem of urban parking. A new lifting andtransferring dimensional parking garage of3floors3ranks21park-units is selected as themain model in the paper. Programmable logic controller PLC is selected as the maincontrol unit in the control scheme based on the analyzes in-depth of the working principleof the parking garage. And the control system of the dimensional parking garage isresearched and designed.The main contents of this paper are:(1)The theories and realistic meaning of research and domestic and internationalresearch present conditions.(2)lifting and transferring dimensional parking garage of3floors3ranks21park-units taken as example. The working principle and structural design of thedimensional parking garage are ginen.(3)Detailed research on Up-down and translation dimensional parking garagehardware design, including the selection of the PLC, input and output ports distribution ofthe control system, the external wiring design of the extension module. Additionaly, theelectrical control schematic of the dimensional parking garage are ginen..(4)Detailed research on lifting shifting type of the dimensional parking garagesoftware design, including the main program, initialization program, automatic access tothe car and reset subroutine, alarm subroutine,and the display subroutine for running. (5)The debugging and testing results of the model of the parking garage.By the design of the part of above,an intelligent control model of dimensionalparking garage willl have be completede. At the same time, the park-units in thedimensional parking garage will have be movied to people and vehicles junction,.After thatthe car will be accessded.During the design process, the platform is built to a modular design with structuralflexibility, control program design based on PLC and its optimization. Finally, theintelligent control of dimensional parking garage is achieved. Besides, This design isequipped with perfect safety device and control system,realize the safety and quick accessto car,the overall effect is good. The dimensional parking garage has the advantages in thediversification of models, small footprint, deposit vehicles, cost-effective, security and thesize would be changed according to the venue and need.
