With the improvement of people's living standards, the car ownership has increased year by year, and the problem of parking arduously has become a trouble day by day. For small floor area, maintaining more cars, and many other advantages, Stereo garage has become an effective way to solve the problem of urban parking.In order to improve the operating efficiency of the stereo garage, this paper makes the motor control as the research content. The object of study is the lifting and transferring stereo garage which shares 70%- 80% in the market, analysis of the principle of garage operation and the motor control system. Then, the switched reluctance motor drive system(SRD) is introduced. And the running speed is 1.5 times as fast as the existing.According to the operating requirements of the lifting and transferring stereo garage, the possibility of using switched reluctance motor in lifting and transferring stereo garage has been analyzed theoretically. The switched reluctance motor(SRM) with three-phase 12 / 8 poles, rated power 4kw, rated speed 750 r /min is chosen, then we use the MATLAB Simulink to model and simulate the motor to analyze the feasibility for stereo garage.Paper abandons the chopping current and so on which control the phase current as the essence, and then using the direct torque control(DTC) to adjust the speed of switched reluctance motor. By using the MATLAB Simulink, efficient and reposeful operation of the lifting and transferring stereo garage which is driven by SRM has been proved under the control of direct torque with the appropriate torque and the phase current in the appropriate position.TMS320LF2407A( DSP) of TI is used to design the hardware circuits of SRM control system, and design details including the IGBTs, position sensing, current detection. And then, the C programming language has been used, discussing the software design of the system control for switched reluctance motor.
