Plastic concrete is a new concrete material which has the low modulus of elasticity,good plastic deformation and anti-permeability, applying widely in water conservancy andhydropower engineering. Iron tailings is one of the complex mineral raw materials,whichcome from writing process of iron ore, magnetic separation in slurry discharge mineralwaste. Tail sand which replace of the concrete weight aggregate amount production of highstrength and high performance concrete, can obtain economic, environmental protection,ecological and many kinds of benefits. It is the realization of cement and concrete industryand the environmental sustainable development effective way,the research has importanttheoretical significance and engineering application value. Based on the experiments thispaper studied the performance of plastic concrete material,successfully using the tail sandfor plastic concrete. The main work of this article are:First, choose the sand ratio in40%,45%,50%,55%,60%, cement dosage in120,135,150kg/m3, the water-binder ratio in1.3, and bentonite admixture for cementdosage of80%made the tail sand plastic concrete, analyzes the slump and diffusion degreeof the tail sand plastic concrete. Through the range analysis discusses the tail sand plasticconcrete batch of with amount of change rule of the sand ratio and cement. The testresults show that, using the tail sand can completely replace river sand production meetingthe engineering requirements of plastic concrete.Secondly, according to the five group sand ratio, three kinds of cement admixture andthree bentonite preparation dosage making15group tail sand plastic concrete mixproportion, make standard specimen, in the provision of curing time on tail sand plasticconcrete specimen separately carried on the cube compressive strength, axial compressivestrength, impermeability and modulus of elasticity and other tests. Researching sand ratio,cement admixture on the tail sand plastic concrete cube compressive strength, axialcompressive strength, impermeability and elastic modulus, using range discussed in thesand ratio, cement and admixture on the change rule of the tail sand plastic concrete cubecompressive strength, axial compressive strength, impermeability and elastic modulus,obtained the anti-permeability best and most reasonable sand rate.Finally, the45%sand rate of the tail sand plastic concrete are tested by the freezing and thawing cycle test, and then separately carried on the0,5,10,15,20times freezingand thawing cycle after the anti-permeability and dynamic elastic modulus experiment, thispaper analyses the freezing and thawing cycle times to tail sand plastic concrete relativepermeability coefficient and the influence of dynamic elastic modulus.
