Coal gangue is one of the major induetrial waste in our country.Coal gangue has the characteristic of low intensity and readily slacking as concrete aggregate in the field of building materials,but it can be used in plastic concrete of impervious wall with the low intensity.The purpose of this paper is to add the coal gangue into the plastic concrete and make it become an important part of the raw material on the premise of making sure the plastic concrete's characteristics.It can not only reduce the cost but also consume the industrial waste.This paper mainly studies the mix design,mechanical property and penetrating quality of plastic concrete added coal gangue.Coal gangue is a material with low intensity,poor density and unstable internal structure according to the analysis of coal gangue performance in different areas of Heilongjiang province.It is not enough to be used as the coarse aggregate of ordinary concrete,but can be controlled in plastic concrete.The performance of coal gangue can be mainly evaluated by the indexes of apparent density,crushing value,weak particle content,10 min and 24 h water absorption.The study on the mechanical property and penetrating quality of coal gangue plastic concrete shows that the increasing of it can reduce the compressive strengh and does not influence the eleastic modulus,but seriously on the penetrating quality.The study on the mix design of coal gangue plastic concrete shows that the increasing of binding material can improve the mechanical property and penetrating quality,and it can make up for the loss of puting coal gangue into use to a certain extent.The measured data by medium permeameter in the determination of plastic concrete permeability test is much larger than that by concrete permeameter,but the variation trend of the two mathods is consistent.The result shows that coal gangue can be used as the coarse aggregate of plastic concrete and it also can ensure the mechanical property and penetrating quality by optimizing concrete mix design.
