Space Shape Design And Mode Research Of Hangzhou Commercial Pedestrian Streets

At present, the construction of commercial pedestrian street has become the major project of the urban construction in China. As a part of urban space, commercial pedestrian street’s space form, pattern texture and environmental quality, as a microcosm of the material landscape and cultural landscape of the entire city, is the important carrier of promoting the business of economic development, improving the quality of modern life and reflecting the feature image of the city. Although there are already a lot of researches and practices on commercial pedestrian street, there is few research on specific space form design and pattern classification of commercial pedestrian street only in Hangzhou.According to the related research on domestic and foreign commercial pedestrian street and the practical analysis of typical cases(Beijing Wangfujing Street, Shanghai Xintiandi Commercial Pedestrian Street, Paris Champs Elysees and Japan’s Ginza Commercial Street), as well as the initial understanding of the component elements, the influence factors and the design principles of space shape design, the paper introduces the current situation of commercial pedestrian street in Hangzhou city and the background, design of typical cases(Southern Song Imperial Street, Hubin International Boutique Compound and Binjiang Star Avenue). Combined with field research results and analysis of cognitive thinking, the paper summarizes the space form model of typical commercial pedestrian street in Hangzhou, and put forward some guidance in refining and improving the commercial pedestrian street space shape design, which can be seem as a reference for the construction and development of commercial pedestrian street in the future Hangzhou.
