Fuzzy Nerual Network Expert System Application Research On Electronic Control Engine Fault Diagnosis

As the heart of Vehicle,Electronic control engine composed by lots of spare partsand its structure is complicated, and work condition is worse, so its faults probabilityis high. Engine’s fault is up to40percent in total vehicle’s. In all, the research on faultdiagnosis system has the significant significance to vehicle industry,which can diag-nose engine’s faults rapidly and accurately.The article aims at the problems of domestic fault diagnosis,uses Fuzzy Log-ic,Neural Network and Expert System, combines with the actual situation of enginefault diagnosis(‘one reason has more results’ and ‘one result has more reasons’), re-search on the construction and implementation of engine fault diagnosis system.Illustrates the basic theory of Fuzzy Logic,Neural Network and Expert system;Summarizes some typical faults symptom of engine; analyses the feature of enginefaults(‘one reason has more results’ and ‘one result has more reasons’).Designs suita-ble Fuzzy neural network, study and discuss establish of core parameters of BP neuralnetwork, Model construction, Based on it to set up fuzzy neural network,and thenfarme fuzzy neural network expert system, at last, use specific example to programmesoftwareEngine’s fault divides into Electronic control system faults, Ignition systemfaults,Fuel system faults, Mechanism system faults, and so on. Set up faults diagnosismodule for these faults. In the Window XP condition, adopt Visual Basic6.0to con-struct total frame, Access Database and MATLAB Neural Network to make back-ground proceedings, to frame Fuzzy Neural Network Expert System. Visual Basic6.0make interface to get input and output. Access Database’s function is store kinds ofdata, and MATLAB Neural Network process and analysis data. Research on BP neur-al network’s set up, such as database,parameters. Using ActiveX and ADO technolo-gies as mutual technology to realize three softwares integrate.The innovations of this article as below:Using Fuzzy Logic to depict faults and distinguish reasons.Using VB technology to set up software,simple and extensible,packageable, canmigrate to other computers,so it is make easy for faults diagnosis theory to transferproducts,which is the shortage of domestic faults diagnosis.This research adapt to thecurrent development trend of Vehicle engine fault diagnosis.
