Fault Diagnosis Expert System in the military has been widely used and can meet the whole life of weaponry, system-wide, and all-expense management. As an army helicopter maintenance worker, I deeply understand that the development and improvement of fault diagnosis expert system is an urgent need. It is very significant to develop the aeroengine fault diagnosis and this research has become a hot topic of great concern both in our own country and abroad.Aeroenginet, which is a very typical and complex mechanical system, is equipped with modern weapons. It works at high speed, high temperature, and high load environment. All these factors can frequently lead to all kinds of various faults during the work. In order to prevent, reduce and exclude fault thoroughly and also enhance and improve aviation engine running status and fault diagnosis technology, I design aero-engine fault diagnosis based on fuzzy reasoning expert knowledge for fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.Firstly, I analyze the characteristics of the expert system, design the structure of expert system, and make sure the function of this system in this paper. Then I get the expert konwledge of aviation engine fault diagnosis, use fault tree structure to organize all these kownlege, make knowledge classification according to the representation in the form of a fault tree, and realize the transformation from fault tree to rule and frame representation using production rules and framework knowledge representation. Secondly, according to the knowledge representation, I design knowledge base structure and establish knowledge base. Meanwhile, according to the knowledge base design and research of fuzzy inference rules, I establish fuzzy diagnosis method of expert system and analyze treating processes of fuzzy diagnosis in this paper. At the same time, based on the basic funtion design of fault code analysis sytem and fault diagnosis expert system, I make use of Delphi7and Access database to develop the software of fault diagnosis system. Therefore, this software has friendly interface between people and machine. I also test the software. The result shows that this diagnosis system which I developed can carry out all the expected function and meet the design requirements of fault diagnosis system.
