With the social and technological development, the energy issues rise to thenational strategic level because of energy and resource consume continually. On thebasis of statistics, the construction used more than30%.The green building is born at theright moment in the middle of last century because controlling construction energyconsumption is the irresistible trend. Many countries created different green buildingstandard and assessment system.LEED is one of the most popular standards.Based on the research of a new building which need pass LEED certification, thisarticle analyzes the LEED’s Energy Saving Clause and establish the energy savingtarget.According the analysis of the old factory’s energy consumption, the major energyconsumption units were confirmed. Then the project energy saving modeling wasdetermined according the LEED requirement and the construction’s energy savingpotential.The modeling of the new construction was set up by eQUEST and Revit tools.The imitations of the modeling forecasted and verified the energy saving performanceof the design.The last part analyzed the energy saving technical used in the building and provedthe energy saving performance of the construction according the analysis of the runningdata. record. The article can provide an energy consumption analysis method and anenergy saving implementation process to the unit who want to make energy saving. Theprocess and method can unearth construction’s energy saving potential and reduceenergy consumption. This is a good consult and sample for the similar industry building.
