The vehicle automatic transmission that is automatically operated transmission,its transmission ratio selection (shifting) is carried out automatically, namely thetransformation of stalls to reflect the engine load and the signal system of speedto control the implementation of the shift system components to achieve. It allowsthe car to get good power and fuel economy; and effectively reduce engine emissionspollution and significantly improve driving safety, comfort and easy operation.The electronically controlled automatic mechanical transmission (AutomatedMechanical Tranmissin, AMT) is on the basis of the mechanical gear transmission,the product that is used by automatic transmission theory combined with. electroniccontrol technology. AMT has the advantages of manufacture easily, hightransmission efficiency and low cost ect, very suitable for the reality of China’sautomobile industry development, and has good prospects of industrialization and abroad range of applications. At present our country automobile productionenterprises and related transmission companies are also underway automatictransmission development work, but the technology is not mature enough, haveonly a few independent property rights related products. This paper focuses oncontrol automatic transmission related questions, mainly for the following work. Byliterature review and investigation I analyze the transmission type anddevelopment trend; study the transmission system characteristics of automaticmechanical transmission (AMT), for the AMT has nonlinear time-varyingcharacteristics, and human factorsthe impact, combined with the characteristics offuzzy control, use fuzzy control in AMT to study system intelligent control; Thecombination of the control process of the clutch is difficulty of AMT control, alsothe focus of the development; by studing the work characteristic and the combinationrule of the clutch,analysising main factors of the impact of the clutch combined, usefuzzy control method to analyze, to explore the combination of control of theclutch;study the shifting process, the timing of the shift of the AMT,and analysisfuzzy control strategy and fuzzy shift,to improve the AMT starting and shiftingperformance, reduce its shift operation, and improve the AMT vehicle comfort andride comfort; by studing the best shift of law and the best fuel economy shiftschedule, according to the kinetic equation, I use Matlab/Simulink software toestablish the automobile dynamic performance and fuel economy shift rule model,and carries on the simulation study, thus improving the shift control timing, improvevehicle dynamic characteristics and test shifting intelligent shift control ofrationality.
