Vehicles have become indispensable transportation means in the modern society. With thedevelopment of science and technology, the requirement to the automatic performance ofvehicle of people is also more and more high. Automated Mechanical Transmission (AMT) isa new type of the automatic transmission for vehicle which quite suitable for the situation ofautomobile industry and have wide development space and development prospect.As the core soul of AMT, shift schedule is the law of automatic shift’ time between twogear positions of vehicle with the change of control parameters,which is the basis for judgingvehicle’s shifting time.The law is closely linked with the dynamic performance of vehicle, soit is very significant. Based on the theory of automatic shift of AMT, making vehicle driving’srequirements which press close to the driving state of vehicle, and help to improve automobileperformance.In view of the actual situation of frequent quality changes of vehicles such as buses andlight trucks which are running, based on the shift schedule of deducing dynamic threeparameters (throttle opening,speed and acceleration),the shift schedule of dynamic threeparameters optimal-power and optimal fuel economy is made some improvement study whichuse quality as a control parameter,to make out improved shift schedule of optimal-power andoptimal fuel economy.To test shift schedule, the method of computer simulation using theMATLAB/SIMULINK toolbox AMT shift pattern simulation model is established forsimulation analysis of the improved optimal power performance and the best fuel economyshift rule. The results of simulation show that this improved shift schedule set conform to therequirements of the car, effectively avoid in the process of the vehicle cycle shift caused by thequality change and to a certain extent improve the automobile fuel economy performance.
