With the development of our nation’s traffic business, the problems of road during usingprocess has become outstanding gradually, of which the potholes damage phenomenon ofasphalt pavement structure has become more and more common, which has a serious impacton safety and comfort of vehicle driving. Therefore, more and more attention was paid to theresearch of the repairing technology of asphalt pavement potholes. At present, the research ismainly about the material and process. It lacks of the research, evaluation and analysis aboutthe overall performance of repaired potholes structure. However, the structure of the repairedpotholes has to withstand complicated traffic loads and environmental factors. Whether therepaired structure is reasonable determines, to a great extent, the requirements of the repairmaterial and process, and play a great role on the service life of potholes structure.According to this problem, this paper select the typical structure of semi-rigid asphaltconcrete pavement to analyses and research the mechanical response of potholes structure bythe ANSYS finite element analysis software and through the establishment ofthree-dimensional finite element model of asphalt pavement, numerical simulation analysis ofasphalt pavement potholes structure after repaired. This paper mainly analyses the influenceon the mechanical response of the potholes wall seam, with the different material, differentthickness, different structure size and different position of load; At the same time,double-layer potholes repairing structure was put forward based on the existing analysis. Thisarticle analyzes the influence on the mechanical response of potholes structure with differentmodulus combination and different thickness combination. In addition, the paper analyzes theinfluence of the disturbance of asphalt pavement base on the potholes structural.According to the results about the analysis of the influence on some factors to the repairstructural mechanics response, this paper come to a conclusion, putting forward reasonablepotholes repair material and structure combination, providing theory basis for the choice ofmaterials and structures to the different degree damaged potholes repair. Besides, this paperprovides some reasonable suggestions for road maintenance department targeted for morereasonable and efficient maintenance, in order to meet the present road maintenance of themaintenance requirements.
