At present, in high grade asphalt pavement,top-down cracks (TDC) have become themain form of asphalt pavement disease,In response to this new damage model,at home andabroad mostly study from the mechanism, therefore, from the test to the study of asphaltmixture TDC performance evaluation of indoor has important significance.According to the actual tire tread, the tire contact area and shape, to determine thetop-down test equipment, According to the actual load pavement in stress analysis, determinethe sample size and area.Proposed top-down laboratory evaluation tests.Through the finite element calculation, test piece the internal stress distribution and thereal road load distribution line.At the same time, has been studied in different thickness, agingfactors, specimens of stress distribution in no change, but the maximum stress isdifferent.Therefore, according to the finite element calculation of the stress test of the formulais presented.Studying the Top-down test variation in the aggregate ratio, size distribution and aging,and other influencing factors, and the rutting test, splitting the experimental results werecompared and found Top-down test results with other experimental variation of different, thetop-down test with the increase of oil stone ratio increased first and then decreased, with theincrease of graded coarse, and the rutting test approach. The results show that theanti-Top-down cracking, asphalt mixture there is optimum asphalt and rough grading canbetter resist the Top-down cracks.
