An Analysis On Urban Complex Of Minnan Region

Nowadays, with China’s rapid urbanization process and the continuous development of thediversity of urban functions, we have being led to the rich and diverse and efficient compositeera of business, office, shopping, entertainment, leisure. As We enjoy convenient at the sametime, the city has being development along with the needs of people from scratch, fromsmall to large, from simple to complex, from centralized to decentralized, and finally return tothe polymerization. Urban complex is coming to being in this context, carrying theexpectations of the people for a complex city life, and slowly becoming synonymous of a city.Based on commercial building concept，it combines multiple functions includinghotel，office，residence and entertainment，etc．which makes the utilization of socialresources effective and intensive．This paper seizing on Urban Complex in Minnan region as the object of study, withliterature reading and a host of field research, aiming at some strategic sectors for thedesign of Urban Complex, makes an effort to explore the inherent law of UrbanComplex’s design in Minnan region.Firstly, focusing on the perspective of design，this paper discusses the function of Urban Complex,especially for the actual situation ofUrban Complex in the Minnan region. Secondly, taking the cases in Minnan region,thispaper studies the combination of the city’s comprehensive traffic and parking system,and points out the problems of the transport system and parking system.Then,thispaper explores the urban space forms and methods of Urban Complex,especially forthe actual situation of the urban complex in Minnan region.Finally,,on the basis ofthe series of surveys and studies on the Minnan urban complex,this paper prospects thedevelopment trend of Urban Complex in Minnan region and puts forward developmentproposals.
