With the rapid development of Sonar and underwater acoustic transducers technology,the demands of underwater acoustic transducers are much higher than before. Developmentaldirection of underwater acoustic transducers is low-frequency, high power, little size andbroadband.The paper describes the design, manufacture and the experimental results of a highpower and1ow frequency mosaic cylinder transducers.First, equivalent circuit method is used to analyze mosaic cylinder transducer, transduceris introduced the low-frequency and high power principium of work. Then, according to thedesign for requirements and principle, Transducer is based on the theory of calculation. Then,it is introduced structural design and manufacture process of transducer. Finally, the prototypeis manufactured and the impedance characteristic and transmitting voltage response aremeasured in the reservoir.The syntonic frequency of the transducer is1.35kHz, The actual measurement can beused within frequency range1.0-10.0kHz with peak transmitting voltage response145.5dB,fluctuation within the frequency range is11.9dB. The metrical outcome shows that thedesigned transducer is achieved with its mission,the experimental results for syntonicfrequency and transmitting voltage of underwater acoustic transducers were well coincidewith academic calculated conclusions. |
