In this paper the two new style non direction high-frequency underwater transducers are researched, designed and prepared with piezoelectric ceramic, that is "the single ring high-frequency underwater transducer","the four rings high-frequency underwater transducer" and "the circular array high-frequency underwater transducer". These there transducers both adopt the addition of the thickness vibration of the piezoelectric ceramics to receive and send high-frequency acoustic signal.Firstly, based on the piezoelectric theory, mechanical vibration theory and equivalent circuit method, the radial thickness vibration of piezoelectric ceramic ring is analyzed, obtained the resonance frequency equation and equivalent circuit parameters.With the help of modal and resonance analyzer of ANSYS software, the primary resonant frequencies of the transducers are simulated in air. Furthermore, the relations of the resonant frequency and the size of the piezoelectric ceramic ring are computed in order to obtain the law of the resonant frequency and the thickness of the piezoelectric ceramic ring. ANSYS results show that the height of the piezoelectric ceramic ring has a little effect of the resonant frequency and the inner diameter of piezoelectric ceramic ring has nothing to do with the resonant frequency.According to the result of ANSYS simulation, the prototypes of the single ring high-frequency underwater transducer, the single ring high-frequency underwater transducer and the circular array high-frequency underwater transducer are designed and fabricated. The fabrication technology and structure of the transducers is summarized. The impedance, transmitting voltage response, sensitivity, directivity property are measured. Experimental test results show that these three structural transducers haven’t only a good non direction circle directional, but it also has a high resonant frequency. This paper is significant to the subsequent research of the non direction high frequency transducers.
