Research On Simulation Of The Battlefield Complex Optical Environment Based On VEGA

With the continuous progress of information construction and rapid development of modern armament, battlefield environment are becoming more complex. The ideal condition of battlefield simulation cannot satisfy the military requirement, so it is important that environmental interfere simulation which in the high fidelity virtual battlefield environment is the direction of military research in the world. This thesis researches on simulation of optical environment in the complex battlefield which Virtual environment is based on Vega.It is discussed that the classic methods of modeling and simulation in the complex optical environment in this paper. The Creator is used for target modeling, the Terra Vista is used for modeling the terrain, and Vega is used for visual environment generation. Aircraft is the classic research objective. A complex optical environment is built in the virtual atmosphere by modeling and stimulating based on Vega. Finally, the simulation results are verified by the experiment.
