Computer military simulation technology is a practical branch of virtual realitytechnology, which is an effective method that makes use of virtual weaponry model to testand train. The computer military simulation technology has advantages of less investment,lower risk, repeatable, good training effect, so it has been widely used.As a high-tech weaponry and equipment, missile weapon system can not be normalizedusing the actual equipment training. It has problems in weapon life, expenditure, etc.According to the characteristics of military simulation system, taking a certain type of missilesimulation training system for the project background, in the analysis of military simulationsystem to achieve a number of key technology based on the combination of dynamicprinciple, this thesis develops a virtual simulation training system of missile launch position,builds weapon simulation system framework. This system has high value to improve thetraining level of army.The main works of this thesis are as follows:Firstly, based on the current visual simulation results of advanced, the object structuretechnology and the battlefield object modeling technology and the structure of the terraintechnology of virtual battle environment are proposed in visual simulation system of missile.The large scale terrain is created through the DEM data structure, and the battlefield objectsare constructed by using level modeling technology. The terrain and models are optimized bythe texture mapping and LOD technology, and the effects of drawing and speed are improved.Secondly, the visual simulation model for weapon system is proposed. The hydraulicworkflow, fly model, effect, control and system working principle are further studied. Thetechnology to operate the weapon and to detect the real-time collision is deeply studied. Thefly models of cannon-shot and missile are improved based on kinematics and kinetics theory.The key technology and idiographic realization is proposed. The movable machine model ofweapons and visual simulation model of guidance weapons are proposed.Thirdly, in view of the special effects not enough reality in the missile visual simulationsystem, this paper proposes the environmental effects and weapon special effects based onparticle system, and creates the effects of the real effect through the texture mapping, and usesdifferent goals of the sign of implementation to improve the special effects on the switch, atthe same time improves special effects by using particle optimization method of plotting the rendering. This thesis improves a collision detection method based on the OBB, achieves thecollision detection technology of the weapons on the high speed, and improves the precisionand speed of collision detection.Finally, the missile’s modular architecture simulation framework to Vega Prime isproposed, and the launch position visual simulation system is achieved. The key technologiesof the system such as environment construction and the implementation of movement modelare described in detail, and the efficiency and effects are verified by experiments in the visualsimulation system of missile.
