The Campus Of Universities Earthquake Disaster Prevention Planning Research

In our country, population is numerous, region is vast and geographical environment isvery complex. Our country is one of the countries which have the highest frequency, mosttypes and most heavily destruction of disaster in the world. In the21century, urbanization isspeeding up and the people’s living standard has improved. Urbanization brings to city wealthand the energy, at the same time, it brings traffic congestion, environmental degradation and aseries of problems, and it increases the disaster chance of city. In the background of rapidurbanization and frequent earthquakes, the work of disaster prevention and reduction hasbecome a necessary arduous task, and earthquake disaster prevention planning has become animportant topic of current research.University is the national talent reserve and the place that young people focus densitymaximum. As a fragile zone of disasters, it is social forward position of disaster preventionand reduction. At the same time, University is irreplaceable disaster shelter, as it is publicinstitution with a lot of open space and perfect infrastructure. Therefore, this article putsforward the concept of "disaster prevention campus", and puts the disaster prevention designinto the campus planning. This can not only provide for the teachers and students of thedisaster site, but also for the surrounding community residents of refuge sites, and it can evenplay an important role in disaster prevention and refuge process in the whole city.The thesis is divided into six parts totally to discuss the campus of universitiesearthquake disaster prevention planning: In the first part, the thesis limits the related conceptof earthquake disaster, evacuation and disaster prevention planning, and analyses the currentresearch situation and the existence question. In the second part, the thesis introduces theresearch content, investigate place and the research methods. In the third part, through theresearch of the related concept of evacuation, combined with the results of the questionnairesurvey and the interview, the thesis studies the refuge behavioral and psychologicalcharacteristics of people in the campus when the earthquake happens. In the fourth part, thethesis firstly analysis the effect of college campus in the refuge, and puts forward the concept of "disaster prevention campus". Then it illustrates the principle of campus earthquakedisaster prevention planning. Finally from the campus location, the road system design,selection and planning of plant, building design, water design, the design of public facilitiesand so on several aspects, it studies the design method of each factor in disaster preventionplanning of the campus. In the fifth part, it integrated uses GIS technique, takes ShandongAgricultural University as an example, and studies the spatial pattern of earthquake disasterprevention planning in campus from five aspects. The aspects include building distribution,population distribution, refuge distribution and analysis of service radius, infrastructureconfiguration and choice of the optimal refuge path. And then it finds out the problems, andputs forward reform proposals and specific strategies. In the sixth part, the thesis summarizesall research, and forecasts the prospect of this topic.
