The Research And Development Of The Engine Flexible Testing System

The tradional engine testing system is developed for the specific testing tasks.This mode results in special system for special task, poor reusability of software and hardware resources,and so on defects. The testing operator can not replace the hardwares and reconfigure the software by themselves for the changed tasks.The development efficiency of the engine testing system will be greatly enhanced and the project cycle will be significantly reduced by introcucing the flexible testing concept.The key technologies includes flexible user’s operations,flexible data process,flexible configuration of the data transmission,flexible A/D. The main contents of the paper include the following aspects:(1)Basing of the requirements of the engine testing task data collection,this paper has developed the data collecting terminal based on FPGA,A/D module,core8051and many other data process modules.This paper also defines the principles for extending system to surpport the client accelerating the secondary development reusing the existing modules.(2)This lecture has developped many operations to support the user-defined functions including adding&deleting controls,user-defined function of control,parameter’relation user-defined,displaying user-defined.Basing on these operations the client can develop the engine testing system for the specific task.(3)For supporting the function of the engine testing task to use many kinds testing equipments and to collect many kinds parameters,this paper has developed many communicating modules and software framework for different communication protocol for example serial port,tcp/ip,USB,CAN and so on to guarantee the system’s scalability and compatibility.(4) Certain rules are developped for the engine testing developer to do the extensions through the modular development idea,this can cut the cost markedly by reusing the hardware software resources.Through the testing and certification,the flexible testing system of the engine presented in this paper has met the user flexible operation,flexible data processing,flexible data acquisition requirements and other basic functions comparing with the traditional testing system for the engine by improving the special system for special task defects.
