The Appearance Modeling Design Research Of Laparoscopic Robot Arm Shell

The Minimally-invasive technique is a revolutionary innovation in the field of medical surgery, it broke through the traditional open surgical approach, on the one hand, the accuracy and reliability of the surgery get a huge improve, on the other hand, it alleviate the suffering of patients and reduce the side effects caused by the operation. As a typical device in the minimally invasive surgery, the laparoscopic robot has become a major issue in the development of modern medical equipment, this article which based on the structure design and optimization finished in previous studies try to complete the shell design of the laparoscopic robot arm.By the study of Shape Studio, this article not only makes the different disciplines used in the appearance design of the shell, such as ergonomics, materials, color, shape and so on, analysis each discipline’s role in the design, but also provide the design a complete theory. Meanwhile, this article discussed the impact of the laparoscopic structure takes to the shell appearance combined with the analysis on the structural characteristics and movement of laparoscopic robot arm.During the phase of design implementation, firstly finished the shell’s digital modeling by UG software, then give an expatiation to the model’s structure, installation, details and so on, which can verify the feasibility of the shell structure design, at last,this article gives the design an evaluation by the appearance evaluation system.The appearance of design as an important part of product design, along with the development of the society, people will take more and more attention to it, especially the exterior design of medical devices, the contents and fields it contains are much more wild than general products, though the model creation of the laparoscopic arm shell, this article researched the design methodology which used in medical devices manufacture, the whole issue not only analyses the problems which need paid more attention in the design process,but also sums up an complete theory which can provide an example for the design of similar equipment.
