With the rapid development of China’s socio-economic and infrastructure construction toincrease investment in road construction by leaps and bounds, higher and higher demands ofsociety on the road. Create a "safe, environmentally friendly, comfortable, harmonious,durable" traffic environment, and continuously improve the service functions of the highway,it is particularly important as the national political, economic and cultural center of the capitalBeijing.To solve these problems, and highway maintenance as the key. By drawing on theexperience at home and abroad, combined with the smooth road of Shunyi District, DaxingDistrict, State Road104in the engineering practice and research, demonstration of ultra-thinwear layer technology is the best way of Beijing area high-grade highway preventivemaintenance and corrective maintenance of the minor diseases one, and on this basis toestablish a set of ultra-thin wearing course construction suitable for the characteristics of theBeijing area.In this paper, the composition of ultra-thin wear layer material properties andperformance of asphalt mixture to conduct a study to determine the technical specificationsand standards of raw materials, asphalt mixture gradation and the best aggregate ratio.Construction technology and quality control, construction methods of the ultra-thin wear layer,and paver selection and matching principles; the same time, the speed of paving, pavingtemperature, initial pressure temperature, the complex pressure temperature, RCC the numberof times and so prepared the construction of technical guidelines to guide future constructionof ultra-thin wear layer.In this paper, the follow-up survey of the road performance and a smooth road, StateRoad104, the effect of the application of ultra-thin wear layer conservation and benefitanalysis, results show that the conservation of the ultra-thin wear layer to improve the roaduse performanceto extend the life of the road, with good economic and social benefits.
