Research On Evaluation Method Of Maintenance Benefit Of Highway Asphalt Pavement

Under traffic load and natural environment, pavement performance of highway has been decreased year by year. With the increase of the service time of highway, the quality and service level of road is lower, the maintenance task is increasingly serious and the maintenance fund will be more and more. Early pavement maintenance technology level is too low to result in consumption of the repair and reconstruction of pavement structure in the late stage and reduce highway assets.income. In this paper, based on the asphalt pavement maintenance decision-making support system (PMS), the evaluation method of benefit of highway asphalt pavement maintenance is studied systematically.Firstly, on the basis of summarizing the current situation and development trend in the evaluation of effectiveness of maintenance treatment and analysis of benefit of maintenance, summarizes the types and features of the highway asphalt pavement maintenance treatment, factors of effectiveness of maintenance treatment, evaluation method as well as evaluation indexes and the content of benefit of maintenance.Secondly, using the variance analysis method to determine the factors significantly influence effectiveness of maintenance treatment. Selecting highway maintenance project in Jiangsu province for the comparison and analysis of availability of maintenance treatment. Based on the theory of regression analysis, rut, roughness and SFC have been chosen as evaluation indexes of effectiveness of maintenance treatment and the development model of pavement performance is established. Combined with actors of effectiveness of maintenance treatment, evaluation index of effectiveness of maintenance treatment and the development model of pavement performance, effectiveness of different maintenance treatment has been analyzed.Then, according to the length of the evaluation time, benefit of maintenance is divided into short-term benefit and long-term benefit. According to the contribution of economic and social development, long-term benefit of maintenance is divided into economic benefit, social benefit and environmental benefit. Based on the engineering economics and technical economics, this paper puts forward the short-term and long-term maintenance benefit indexes, and expounds the construction principle and calculation method of each index. Based on the long-term maintenance benefit evaluation indexes and the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) model, the evaluation method of maintenance benefit has been established.Finally, based on the work done in the research, the key link of maintenance benefit evaluation has been systematic studied and the short-term and long-term maintenance benefit evaluation program have been designed. Based on the example of highway maintenance projects in Jiangsu Province, the applicability and effectiveness of the evaluation index and method of short-term and long-term maintenance benefit is demonstrated.
