A Study On Strategies For The Transformation Of Village In City Of Beijing

"Village in city", prevalent in China’s large and medium-sized cities, is a rather specialurba n phe nomenon in the process of China’s rapid urba nization, its causes are complex. Andits development status and existing problems have become negative factors which areobstacles to the development of cities. With the rapid development of the city, more and morereconstruction of “village in city” has been put on the agenda. The transformation of thevillages not only involves planning and building of the architectural category, which involvesall aspects of the factors, is a comprehensive problem. This article will limit the scope of thestudy in the Beijing area, analyze the problems of reconstruction of “village in city” by takingthe transformation of Haidian District Tang Jialing Village as a specific example. And on thisbasis, sums up strategies and s uggestions for the transformation of “village in city” in Beijing.The thesis is divided into five parts:The first chapter introduces the research background, purpose, meaning, object and scope, andthe previous research in this field is briefly summarized as well. Finally, put forward theresearch method and the framework.The second chapter is about the analysis of “village in city” phenomenon in Beijing, includingrelated background, causes of formation, development status, existing problems andchallenges faced during reconstruction.In the third chapter the influencing factors in the city reconstruction process in Beijing areanalyzed, related to the relocation compensation and resettlement of the villagers, thetransformation of the capital requirements and financing, social factors, as well as institutionaland po licy factors.In the fourth chapter, take Tang Jialing Village reconstruction as an example to analyze theprob lem of the reconstruction of “village in city”.The fifth chapter, summary of countermeasures and suggestions of the reconstruction of“village in city” of Beijing.
