| At present, with the rapid development of China’s economic, the ownership of car increased rapidly in city, and that would bring enormous pressure on urban roads. So an important issues that how to relieve urban traffic congestion effectively needed to be resolved. For the achievement of urban roads’healthy operation, at first, we must correct the understanding of the service levels of the existing city roads, and then establish the discrimination system of the road congestion level and feedback the degree of the road congestion timely for the effective guide of the residents’travel. For the purpose, this paper studied the urban road traffic from the following aspects:(1) Application of a new road information collection methods, the use of GPS receivers to collect data, and extract to reflect the attributes of the road traffic flow. In order to improve the accuracy and reliability of the data, the actual road traffic characteristics for processing the collected information to meet the requirements of road traffic data mining.(2) Through the study of vehicles on urban roads by speed and by the time, we explore the research methods of the level of service of an urban road to enhanced driver’s intuitive understanding of the urban road capacity.(3) In this paper, a novel approach was proposed to classifier automatically traffic congestion level by using the consistency between the mobile sensor information and the judgments of driver. Its purpose is to minimize dependence on the data, simple and fast to evaluate congestion level. |
