As the suitable equipment which could be used to transport solid-liquid two phase flow, diaphragm pump has been application common in chemical,power plants, mining, metallurgy and other industries,with the rapid development of the pipeline technology. Currently,most of the diaphragm pumps have disadvantages such as large volume,high manufacturing costs,flow pulsation problem,heavy weight and so on.This article presents a new reciprocating diaphragm pump driven by the hydraulic cylinders.Firstly, this paper analyzes the flowing state of pumping materials of diaphragm pump-heterogeneous slurry flow in the pipelines;and establish the dynamic model of heterogeneous slurry flow in the pipeline.Get the accumulation of flow rate and the resistance loss calculation method of the non-homogeneous slurry in a horizontal pipe.Second, change the drive way of traditional diaphragm pump,design the drive hydraulic system of diaphragm pump.It establishes the mathematical model of the drive hydraulic system of diaphragm pump,in case that the diaphragm pump was work.By the simulation of MATLAB/Simulink,it analyzes the stability of the hydraulic system.Based on the PID control method,adjust the control parameters of PID controller,then optimize dynamic and static characteristics of the drive hydraulic system.Using the AMESim simulation software to built the simulation model of the drive hydraulic system with diaphragm pump. It did the simulation of the whole hydraulic system,to grasp the movement of drive hydraulic cylinder and simulation master drive movement rules,the pressure variation and flow variation of drive hydraulic cylinder, and the flow variation of pump discharge.Finally,it builds the test platform of diaphragm pump drive hydraulic system to test the performance parameters of hydraulic drive diaphragm pump,and verifies the correctness of the system model.The test results show that:the design of the diaphragm pump hydraulic drive system in this paper can provide a relatively smooth output flow character,and verify the correctness of the theory research.
