Based on the fluid mechanics theory, this paper summarized and discussed the turbulence model. After using AutoCAD to make the geometric configuration on slurry circulating pump case and impeller in desulphurization system, the pump model is meshed and calculated with the Gambit and Fluent softwares. The pump model is set off two branch area to calculate, the stator (divided into spiral) and rotor (impeller), and is created by the coupling ways. Control equations are hydraulic designed with experience coefficient method. Numerical simulation is worked for the three-dimensional flow field of desulfuriz slurry pump inside by SIMPLEC algorithm, the standard k-εsearch-evade antagonistic turbulence model and Euler multiphase flow model. Pump performance is analyzed when the impeller import,export design parameters and the pump volute design parameters changed. The internal flow important flow parameters of the main feature are revealed through analysising the internal fluid pressure distribution and three-phase flow velocity of mixed flow pump. It provides important theoretical basis for reconstruction of mixed flow pump. Combined with project the method of surveying and mapping is discussed, and it guides quick surveying and mapping principle for pump.In addition, the paper discusses the modification of the structure of certain desulfurized system grout circulating pump based on the structural parameters of pump impeller, and forecasts the performance of mixed flow pump with software simulation transformation. By changing the structure of impeller parameters, constantly improve the pump's performance development trend. The data of the pump are compared and analyzed after modification and the results of the software simulation to enable software simulation and actual combination effectively. So it is no longer stay in theoretical analysis stage, and testified the forecasting accuracy of the numerical simulation of slurry pump performance. This will reduce the research and experiment expense of the slurry pump, and shorten cycle time of design and manufacturing. Eventually software simulation replace pump real type test. And this subject has the technical value and engineering application prospects.
