At present, for the human social and the economic sustainable development, more andhigher requirements are put forward the building health management. Requirements, such asenergy conservation and emission reduction, environment protection, safety and health inbuildings, are enrich and deepen. That asks for new policies and measures to match. Buildinghealth problem is close linked to people’s basic benefits like lives and property. Buildinghealth not only considers the building safety, still should also consider coordination betweenbuilding and ecological environment, comfort of indoor environment, energy and resourceconservation, the influence to the social environment."Health" includes, but not limited to,"the quality of the building itself, economic and feasible, saving energies and sources,humanity character, the satisfying owners’ demand, contribution to the city and even theeffect to human civilization ". At the same time,"health" also often reflects a nation’s moralcharacter. So paying attention to building health is paying attention to our way of the survivaland development, is paying attention to our national culture, is concerning with the future ofour children.However, buildings in our country exists all kinds of problems, which is extensivelycared by the whole society. For example, some buildings have serious mass defect, somebuildings are planned unreasonable, etc. Thus, analyzing building health status, finding theproblems and the influence factors in buildings is very important.This paper referenced international and domestic building health management literaturesand related results. According to the development level of economy and society, geographicalenvironment, the humanities characteristics and common problems in building in subtropicalareas, we made a proper questionnaire.Through questionnaire analysis, we found that building health problems lied mainly inthe architectural planning, construction management and saving energy management forwhole life and the main influences hindering the building health development in subtropicalareas included technical factors, economic factors and the government management. Then wetried to analyze inner mechanism of the problems with game theory, economics principle and so on. At last, we found out reasonable countermeasures for building health management. Inorder to verify the correctness of the suggestion in this paper, we also select a green buildingin subtropical area as a case. Through interviewing and collecting construction materials, theconstruction management measures of the building is reviewed and proved.This research provides certain reference for the building health management strategy insubtropical areas. We hope that this research can make the contribution to progress inbuilding health management.
