Research On The Characteristics Of The Beijing Private Museum

The private museum in Beijing is referred to the museum which is funded byindividuals or private enterprises, registered in the government and regularlyopened to the community.Chinese museums was originated in the private sector,and grow up with the society, private museums will gradually become thedevelopment trend of Chinese museums. In this study,we make Beijing as ourstandpoint, focuse on contemporary,based on the20private museums in Beijingarea and the architecture and urban planning theory, we start it with the briefanalysis of their basic condition,and then focus on the study of the personalitycharacteristics of Beijing private museums.we will grasp the personalitycharacteristics to make extensive research,and especially from the aspects of thebuilding location,size,function, exhibition space and architectural modeling,andthen make corresponding recommendations in the design.Finally,we expect to makesome suggestions on the theory study and the design.First, we will give a brief introduction from the History, Present Situation andproblem, and the role in cultural development of the Beijing area to make peoplehave an initial understanding of the private museum s of the Beijing area.Secondly, we will foucs on the research from the aspects of the buildinglocation,size,function, exhibition space and architectural modeling, emphasis onthe personality characteristics of the private museum in order to have morecomprehensive understanding of the private museum s.Thirdly,we will take one-to-one correspondence to the analysis of the fivepersonality traits in the last part,and make some recommendations from the view ofarchitecture design.Finally,we summarize and make outlook of the research of the Beijing PrivateMuseum.
