Firstly, the research background of failure analysis of hydraulic modular assembled trailer is introduced in this thesis. Combining with the development trend of assembled trailer and the enterprise’s actual requirements, the main purpose and meaning of the research are discussed. In a detailed analysis of study statuses of hydraulic modular assembled trailer at home and abroad, the principal contents of this thesis are put forward.Then, the overall structure and main technical characteristics of hydraulic modular assembled trailer are analyzed. The splicing forms are introduced. The structure characteristics of hydraulic modular assembled semi-trailer are presented. On the basis the general research plan of this paper are put forward.Then, the stress of the original structure of the low-flat is calculated by FEM, the failure reasons of original structure is found by analysis the FEM result. Then, a topology optimization analysis of the low-flat is processing, the improving design of the low-flat is taken according to the topology optimization analysis results. These measures make the stress concentration of the low-flat down a lot. Based on this, other parts of the low-flat are improved. The analysis results show that those measures makes the low-flat meet the loading requirements, they could also proof the design improvements of the low-flat are correct and effective.Afterwards, in view of the low material utilization of the low-flat, the method of lightweight and structural lightweight design are introduced. The size optimization is used to design the low-flat as a proper lightweight method. The last calculation results show that the size optimization makes the low-flat5079Kg lighter than its former structure on condition that it still meets the loading requirements.Finally, the free modal analysis of the low-flat is taken, and its last few order free frequency and vibration are got. It could provide some references for the design of low-flat and the options of loading method.Research of this thesis solved company’s practical problem, and provided references for the same type of research, has practical significance and value.
