With the development of photoelectrical precision guidance technique and theappearance of all kinds of air-to-ground and ground-to-ground missiles, as well as theusage of a lot of airborne foresight device, it is a great challenge for the aerial defenseand self-protection devices. The big ground photoelectrical protection system containstwo trucks, which the main truck is for laser jamming with the tracking and pointingprojection turret, and the assistant truck is for the searching and warning with the longand short wave infrared warning devices. The information of azimuth angle andaltitude angle is transferred to the turret of the main truck for target acquisition andtracking after the infrared warning system finding target. Its purpose is to suppress thevisible, infrared reconnaissance, foresight and observer device or disturb and saturatethe guidance system of opposite infrared precision guided weapon in order to decreaseits precision. The infrared warning system is installed on the top of retractable mast toavoid the block of terrain. The rising and falling equipment is composed of rising andfalling flat roof and mast. The first one can rise the rising and falling mast andstabilization seat to the top of the vehicle by4in-phase moving silk bars. The IRwarning equipment was built on the seat. The rising and falling mast can rise or fallthe IR warning equipment by the rising and falling movement of the flexing mast.However, the operational mode of jerking movement will bring the varied torsiontorque for the retractable mast, which will definitely induce a greater guiding error.Therefore, a suit of light pipes is designed to measure the deformation amount of torsion angle in real time. Then the guiding precision of whole system is calculatedthrough the method of coordinate conversion.This dissertation is divided into four parts as following.(a) The introduction of ensemble entrucking. The installed devices of two trucksand their positions are described and then each error source influencingguiding precision is listed.(b) The structure design of infrared warning system. The technical parameters ofinfrared radiation characteristic, searching distance and warning accuracy etc.are presented for the searching target. The overall design for this system.(c) The structure design of the light pipes for measuring torsion. The operatingprinciple of the light pipes is introduced and then its overall framework ofoptics and mechanics is designed. The detecting method is provided for thisdevice in order to determine its dynamic precision of measuring angle.(d) The calculation of guiding precision. The mathematical model of guidanceaccuracy is established for the main truck, which including the method ofcoordinate conversion. The guidance accuracy is calculated for the system.
