Now we are in the time which is called energy shortage. Therefore, as the best renewable energy, solar power meets the requirement of the world’s environmental protection and sustainable development. It’s considered as the most important resource which is qualified to replace the traditional ones. Photovoltaic power generation market pays more attention to the application of PV products, as the worldwide power consumption is very huge. In recent years, many countries have launched relevant policies and regulations in order to promote this new energy. It can be predicted that in the future the growth of PV market will be dynamic. As the building energy consumption plays a very important role in the whole consumption, currently, the new technology which combines PV with architecture is becoming a new research hotspot. Photovoltaic roof with stand-alone installation has many advantages such as simple operation, low cost and no destruction of the building. With the rapid growth of the photovoltaic power generation market, we definitely need to lower the cost and improve the system efficiency in order to reach grid parity. However, there are not enough demonstration projects that can provide us with enough advices, so we even make the same mistake again and again. Moreover, we have no access to some papers that can describe the whole project comprehensively and the combination of theory with practice is not perfect, thus the development of this kind of project is largely hindered.This article is based on100kWp PV project of campus teaching building in Dalian University of Technology. Through the whole process including design, construction and maintenance, I proposed a series of programs which can provide a reference for the similar large-scale projects. The practical results show that a good photovoltaic power generation projects need to coordinate the investment elements with building elements and the design with construction program. What’s more, solar professionals must cooperate with construction professionals in order to improve operational efficiency and lower construction costs. Of all the project investment elements, the solar module cost plays the most important role. As the construction elements conclude many things, to promote the working efficiency, we should decide the program based on the power grid and the actual power usage. And it is also necessary for us to choose the construction mode and organizational management according to the actual state. At the same time, by adjusting the mounting angle and installation of the distance, it is expected to improve output. The selection of grid program must combine with the characteristics of the project to ensure the safety of the grid and improve the practicality of the demonstration project. During the construction process, we should unify planning, save manpower and material resources and also take the quality control into account according to the actual state. At the same time, a high-quality and high efficiency construction team is urgently required. In the step of system maintenance, we aggregated and analyzed the various sub-systems’generation power and the result was good. Actually mono-crystalline silicon systems showed more advantage than poly-crystalline silicon systems because the process of the silicon production was different. However single tracking system didn’t show a good result because the system failed to follow the sun all the time. The inverter was running in good condition. |
