Performance-based Design Of A Commercial Center

As the rapid development of economy, more and more high-rise buildings which are center of local commercial district have been building up, this kind of building usually comprise of several components such as business、office、hotel and garage. The model city need this kind of skyscraper but the fire risk of such building should be noticed. The fire protection code at present cannot be applied to fire protection design in such buildings, so a new kind of design method-"performance-based design" which have been generalized widely in developed countries can be used for the dilemma present.In recent years, with the rapid development of computer technology, numerical simulation of fire and evacuation simulations have increasingly been used in fire safety design. Numerical simulation of fire can provide us the visual data about smoke movement, temperature distribution, CO CO2concentraion and visibility distribution. According to Perormance Safety criterion.Evacuation simulations can not only provide us the data about human behavior during the evacuationd and REST,but also accelerates the development of performents-based fire design.The research emphases of this dissertation is the design of fire protection and safety egress in high-rise building, the content of paper including:looking through the design drawing of the high-rise building; The problem of safety design should be listed compared to the codes present and then a new fire protection system in performance-based design should be worked out; According to the new safety design, the fire scenario model and evacuation model should be set up and the design of fire protection system should be validated; A conclusion should be summarized.After fire prevention design, we will raise the fire protection synthesis safety level of Commercial Center.reduce the casualties and loss of property. So it is very important to safeguard the social stability and to ensure economic development.
