| The ultimate goal of Project Progress Management is to minimize the difference between planned project time table and the actual one, thus better control project progress and project time management. Being one of the most important three management systems in project management field. Project Progress Management has strong connection with Project Cost Management and plays important role in enhancing project efficiency.The thesis discussed the possibility to improve project schedule by improving project progress management, analyzed frame structure of Four-Electrification Integration Project under one Passenger Dedicated Line Project, initiated project assignments chart, drew Gantt Chart and Net Chart of project status of Four-Electrification Integration Project under the Passenger Dedicated Line Project by using Microsoft Project2003. The author also calculated the possibility of project finished within planned time table by analyzing the most optimistic schedule, the most possible schedule and the most pessimistic schedule with the help of program evaluation and review technique. The author used Gantt Chart tracing skill to find out assignments that are followed behind original plan, then offered solution to such problems after finding out reasons caused such delay. Later, the author introduced Four-Electrification Integration System and analyzed each sub system and matching system as to shorten delay caused in installation phase and increase the possibility of work to be done within planned time table. At last, the author offered proposals for Project Progress Management after project improvement.The thesis offers great value for enterprises that seeks improvement of Project Progress Management and increasing core competition capability, especially for those ones specialize in project installation. |
