Urban mass transit, which mainly serves the city public passengers, is playing the backbone role in city public passenger transportation。In recent years, it has got a rapid development in China and higher requirement was put forward for urban mass transit control technology. At the same time, to build up a comprehensive urban rail transit control laboratory is of urgent need for our school’s scientific research and teaching.The topic comes from Urban Mass Transit Control and Communication Laboratory of Southwest Jiaotong University。The laboratory is a comprehensive training platform, which focuses on urban mass transit, supplemented by high-speed rail integrates both management and control and combines theory and practice at the same time. The paper chiefly research and design the lab’s simulation platform hardware interface, to realize the control of signal equipment, such as simulation sandbox signal, switch, departure indicator, and emergency stop button and the operation and positioning of simulation train。The system uses a modularization, plug-and-play method, so it is easier for the fault finding and routine maintenance。And the method enables the system to have a better scalability and provides favorable conditions for future research。The paper mainly completed the following works:First.To analyze the laboratory’s functional requirement and design the system structure of urban mass transit and high-speed rail。Second.To design the laboratory’s signal simulation equipment and acquisition boards hardware。Expanding external data memory、interface RS-232C、interface USB、interface RS-485and interface RS-422on the basis of STC12C5A60S2chip’s minimum system and reserving network communication interface。Third.To design the laboratory’s signal simulation device module hardware, including signal module, magnetic switch, departure indicator, emergency stop button and wireless simulation locomotive。Forth.To analyze the system’s software module, design system communication protocol and program the testing procedure of signal simulation equipment control、acquisition boards、magnetic switch module and departure indicator module。Fifth.Completed the system welding and overall debugging。The application of the paper in the laboratory meets the need of simulation platform (?)ardware interface。It has a strong availability and reaches the expected goal。...
