The rapid development of the highway contributes to a booming bridge building. It’sobvious that the construction of long-span bridges era is coming in our country with the buitupof rivercrossing bridge and sea-crossing bridge especially,most of which use the orthotropicsteel deck.Because the location of these bridge is special and their panel’s deformations aremore serious in complex loading,the technical requirements of the steel deck pavement arehigher than common pavements.Fourtunately,epoxy asphalt mixture have an excellent temputurestability and fatigue resistance performance.It had a good effect since the mixture was used asthe steel bridge deck pavement materials,so that epoxy asphalt is increasinglu accepted andbecoming more and more popular.Based on referring to abundant related documents and the definition of the pavementmaterial, This paper discovered a kind of solubilizer which can increase the conclute of matrixasphalt and epoxy resin,after determining matrix asphalt type and choosing epoxy resin andcuring agent.Then through a lot of experiments, determine the best proportion of thecomposition in the epoxy asphalr mixture, and determine the curing time of the new epoxyasphalt and shear strength in different temperature。Through the reference of foreign technical indexes of epoxy asphalt mixture,applying themaximum density curve theory,BeiLei method and the regulations of Superpave gradingrules,carried on epoxy asphalt mixing proportion design,and making sureto the gradation byslide resistant performance and anti-fatigue performance . then assaying the physical-mechanicalindexes of mixture in the Marshall test , and determined the best bitumenaggregate ratio.Thenthrough a series of laboratory test,determined the intensity of home-made epoxy asphaltconcrete,temperature stability, thermosystaltism , water stability,fatigue performance and skidresistant,and made comparative analysis with other applicable materials of steel bridge deckpavement.Finally, according to the temperature characteristics of the epoxy asphalt, I testedcomprehensive property of the Marshall specimens in Marshall test at different temperatures,onthe basis of the index of Marshall stability and porosity, determined the best setting time of theasphalt mixture at different temperatures. At the same time,we maintain the marshall in thedifferent tep , then test the strength increasing .Then chose the adding method of the epoxyasphalt in the temperature-stability and water stability test.The study provide a reference basisfor the implementation and promotion of domestic epoxy asphalt concrete pavement.
