With the continuous development of water transportation career, channel thegradual improvement of the level, and increasing the passing vessels, and the shipcollision with the buoy probability will also increase, often have the collisionstructure damage, and even heavy standard, such as not salvage in time, and will be ofsafe voyage to form a new threat to ship. Therefore, through the simulation ships indifferent position and different structure forms of buoy for collision, study theoptimization design of the structure of buoy, and to decrease the ship collision withthe buoy the damage caused by, guarantee the smooth ship navigation.This paper first to the structure form and material development is comprehensiveoverview of. With the rapid development of materials science, to buoy in resistance tosink crashworthiness and durability improvement is to lay the solid foundation.Secondly the domestic and foreign research ship and all kinds of structures of thecollision of the dynamic analysis are briefly summarized, found to the ship and thedomestic and foreign collision numerical simulation study is less, so this paper to theship collision with the buoy simulation, provides reference for the design for the buoy,study the superior performance of new buoy.Secondly, based on ANSYS/LS-DYNA ship and the buoy the of the collision ofthe numerical simulation research, through to DWT container ships and AutoCADHF1.8-D1 respectively buoy model, and then import in ANSYS/ LS-DYNA, settingmaterial constitutive model parameters, grid division, determine the types andboundary constraint conditions contact, and the additional quality model to considerfluid to the ship and buoy the influence of the movement. And the whole steel buoyand glass fiber reinforced plastic buoy two types of buoy, by hitting different parts tostudy and analysis the collision damage.Finally to the ship and the results of numerical simulation of the collision of thebuoy concluded that the ship hitting a buoy the stress strain value lower produce ishitting a buoy the upper portion of the stress and the strain of much more value andfiberglass buoy of collision bear ability strong; Stiffening rib on the stress diffusion abinding effect but not obvious; In the crash simulation process, the tail pipe and themain body and a rib joint board produced great stress, some important conclusions.
