With the rapid growth of the modern global economy, the status of maritime transport is increasingly significant. Although most of the ships are equipped with advanced navigation aids to navigation, but loss of life, personal injury and economic loss in maritime traffic accdients still occur frequently. In order to improve the fishing boats salvage at seal level and the rescue effect, to ensure the safety of the lives and property, maritime search and rescue work has been a very important role and significance. The ship is saved and located by AIS-EPIRB. It will antomatically launch the ID and lacation Information of the ship, the around ship or rescuing aircraft receive the specific information, you can quickly determine the location of the ship in distress, to shorten the searching and rescuing time, conduct search and rescue of a ship in distress. AIS-EPIRBbuilt in GPS receiver, can make their exact location, to facilitate the conduct of search and rescue work.This study a simple structure, emergency position indicating beacon, including the power supply unit, control unit, as well as signal transceiver unit, the signal transceiver unit includes the main control unit to connect the communication signal transmitter module and the GPS signal receiver module, the main control unit is the core part of the whole design, the integrated treatment of the control information of the complete parsing of GPS positioning information, AIS message encoding and packaging, start instructing.
