The Reserch Of Traditional Residental Architecture Space In Jingxing Hebei

This paper attempts to use sociological theory methods to study the architectural spaceof Jingxing traditional houses, and to provide new research methods for the study oftraditional houses. There are a great number of traditional vernacular architecture inJingxing county, which, perfectly preserved architectural features of the residential areasof the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and have become one of the typical representative of theHebei residential. Jingxing has been named "Millennium Ancient County", and itshistorical and cultural sites are being protected. The study of the Jingxing traditionalresidential building is still in its infancy, besides, the protection and development of thetraditional residential buildings has become an key issue that needs focus. This paper aimsto study the building space features and spiritual connotation of the Jingxing traditionalresidential, so that to provide a theoretical basis for the protection and inheritance of thethe Jingxing traditional residential construction.Starting from the sociological point of view, this paper aims to dig the mining spacecharacteristics and cultural connotations of traditional residential architectures and at thesame time to propose scientific and reasonable measures for the succession anddevelopment of Jingxing traditional residential. I hope to enhance the social focus oftraditional residential architecture and to improve people’s consciousness to protectvernacular architecture.Paper is to start from the the Jingxing natural environment and socio-culturalbackground, to summary the Jingxing traditional residential building space, shapeclassification and components, combined with the Jingxing regional culture, combinedwith the sociological theory expounded, namely, social organization, fengshui concepts,economic models, geographical the impact of culture, lifestyle and other aspects of the theJingxing traditional houses of architectural space, and finally to make recommendationsfor the Jingxing traditional protection of the residential buildings and heritage from ascientific point of view.
