The Design Of Digital Converter Test Equipment

Digital Converter Unit is the core of the aircraft telemetry system.In the process of thelaunching aircraft,it provided all of the aircraft flight parameters for the ground,so it demandsfor high reliability to Digital Converter Unit.Digital Converter Unit Test-Equipment is theground test equipment dedicated for Telemetry Converter,it is a large application equipmentincluding automatic Generation、automatic detection、automatic meter and data analysis.It’Suse will change the traditional manual test methods of Digital Converter Unit and make itautomatic to test during production and application．This paper gives the design of digital converter test-equipment based on the analysis ofthe mission statement,taking both the automatic test system theory as a guide and the digitalconverter as testing project.In the design of hardware circuit,it introduced the principles anddeign features of every functional modules detailedly.In the software part,it described thedesign of communication protocols,analysing the reliability firstly,secondly giving the designof the logic function and USB firmware.In unit test mode,we test the performance of thedigital converter.It is proved to meet the demands.The project is designed not only to fulfill the requirements of a mission statement,butalso describes the key technologies of the digital converter test-equipment,especially in thedesign of FPGA using ping-pong operation and string conversion,greatly improving the speedof data processing in order to achieve the optimization of the design.
