Under the pressure of energy shortage and the emergency of environmentalprotection, people have to develop and utilize new energy. With the developmentof science and technology, and the wider application of solar cells, it is safelypredict a soaring demand of products. Accordingly, there is a promising future ofPC products in the market. With such tendency comes increasingly highrequirement of PV products. Silicon films, solar cells, solar panels are primarilydelivered to foreign or domestic large-scale power plants. Due to the late start,weak foundation and lagging technique of packaging industry in China, we arestill confronted with such problems as high breakage rate, low logisticsefficiency as well as environmental pollution, etc. Therefore, the main topic ofthis paper is to make a research on reasonable packaging design.In this thesis, packaging design of silicon films, solar cells and solar panelsin the photovoltaic industry chain were made respectively to domestic transportand exportation. The main contents are as follows:1. The description of the PV industry development at home and abroad andthe clarification of the necessity for packaging design of photovoltaic products.2. A design of domestic and international transport packaging solutions foran enterprise of photovoltaic products(silicon films, solar cells and solarpanels).The packaging design of silicon varies from various destination, the solarcell packaging design is a re-designed optimization from existing packaging, andthe packaging solutions of the solar panels is only a brief introduction of twoprograms of cardboard and wood box.3. Take solar cells for an example, based on logistics transport environmentand the forces, using the CAXA physical design software and the ANSYSWorkbench finite element software. The comparison between the maximumstress and material stress through statics analysis of the cell package of stress and strain and displacement contours to meet the strength requirements; naturalfrequency and mode shapes obtained by modal analysis, to avoid the occurrenceof resonance, and verify that the packaging design of reliable and rationality.4. A description of the software and usage of LoadExpert, optimizationanalysis of solar cells logistics transportation, comparison with the packingprogram, analysis of the accuracy and convenience using this software tocalculate the container.5. Proposal of the packaging waste recycling and Green packaging method,discussion of paper packaging waste, plastic packaging waste, metal packagingwaste and glass packaging waste recycling method, and an example of recyclingmethods and processes of EXPAK.
