Eco-towns is undoubtedly contemporary right choice.This paper mainly summarized the experience of planning and construction of eco-town abroad, especially through the induction thinking in from abroad. To carry out the foreign eco-urban planning and construction experience in systems analysis, document analysis, comparative analysis, ecological analysis research. The full text is divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction and research progress. The first chapter is the introduction to discuss the research background, significance, research methods and content; The chapter II is the progress of the study, which analyzed planning and construction the process and the main standards and content of foreign eco-city.The second part is the study on foreign eco-city planning and construction, including the third chapter&the fourth Chapter. The former mainly through foreign typical eco-city comparative analysis of the case, summarize the basic content and features;the latter summarized the basic theories and methods of eco-city.The third part is the empirical section,which selected the the Yuzhong eco-towns and Tianshui Qinzhou Biological Construction as the example, Chapter5take Yuzhong as example, some towns of Yuzhong especially in the construction of the the Yuzhong basin eco-towns were analyzed from the macro, meso and micro level;In Chapter6, several aspects of development from the carrying capacity, ecological function zoning, ecological industrialization in the direction of its ecological construction were analyzed.This paper tried to analyze the typical foreign eco-city planning and construction cases, summarized the eco-city planning theory methods, and then draw on its advanced theoretical methods, our Yuzhong and Tianshui Qinzhou area of urban ecological construction were analyzed which had been hoped to learn from international advanced experience in eco-city to the promotion of China’s ecological urban planning and construction.
