Aesthetics, any one wants to pursue at any time. It brings people a positiveattitude and endless happiness. Compared to other forms of aesthetics, the beauty ofbridges provide a strong visual and psychological shock in a so directly way. Shenever conceals her magnificent, soft, graceful, lively and solemn. Designers canalways find the most appropriate form to integrate bridge structures into the naturalenvironment and make people can’t help to enjoy the aesthetics of bridges. Attachingthe importance to aesthetics of bridge architecture could send people back to a morenatural visual environment.Bridge architecture provides corresponding principles to create beautiful bridgeschemes. Based on the features of bridge engineering, shape design can be dividedas aesthetic viewpoint, formal beauty fundamental elements and generalizedlandscape concept, etc. At the conclusion of the style and the history of thedevelopment of bridge cultural evolution process, it could be found that the formalbeauty of bridge comes from structure compact and the smoothly of power flow. Abeautiful bridge should not have any redundant components. The starting point ofbridge design is the reasonable use of point, face, the combination of line and bodyand combination all these basic elements to make decorate. This paper introducedthe important role of basic elements in the design process as the same as landscapefactors. Formulate the five landscape design basic principles including variety andunification, scale and dimension, Balance and stability, rhythm and cadence andimprove the creative approach of bridge architecture. Introduce briefly coordinationbetween bridge with the natural environment, the cultural history background andbridges in landscape, as well as night scene of the bridge, color scheme.Chapter4is the important content of this thesis. The detailed style design principles of these four types which are including beam bridge, arch bridge, andcable-stayed bridge and suspension bridge are introduced respectively and theinfluence of the force transmission path of bridge structure and heart allure on thebridge styles were also analyzed with the famous bridges for instance. Planning ofnightscape lighting is supplemented. As a kind of four dimensional space structure,social customs, human psychological activity and the beauty of artistic conceptionwill impact on the beauty of it in varying degrees.Based on the detail factors of shape princple established the evaluation systemof bridge aesthetics beautiful, taking form, landscape elements as Tier I of targetlayer which forming their own fundamentals for refining the subsystem level andfacilitating the evaluation system. On above foundation, Chapter5and6mainlyintroduces the methods and software realization of bridge evaluation system. Firstly,advantages and disadvantages of the traditional analytic hierarchy process wereintroduced in chapter5and the uncertain analytic hierarchy process was introduced.The theory and algorithm process was expounded as the suitable of uncertain AHPfor bridge evaluation system in chapter5. In chapter6, the basic principle andevaluating procedure of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method were introduced.Then the evaluation method of the software was established on the MATLABplatform combined with the weights we got from uncertain AHP method. At the endof this paper, complete set of evaluation system and software was used to evaluateXiaonan river bridge finally achieved optimal results.
