The distribution of China’s Pearl River Delta region with a large area of soft soiland low-intensity high compression of the soft soil soft soil settlement deformationunder various loads, particularly prone to causing enormous economic losses to theproject construction. Therefore, more and more attention for the study of the softfoundation settlement.Although the present study yielded some results, but there are still manyproblems to be solved. Subsidence prediction with the calculated value due to theuncertainty of the calculation model and the actual differences and to calculate theparameters are still not fully meet the project accuracy requirements. In view of this,combined with the measured data of Humen Port is located in the Pearl River Deltaregion, West Tan soft-based monitoring project, analysis of the law of settlementchange over time in three settlement prediction methods and hierarchical summationmethod to calculate the final settlement and analysis and comparison with themeasured values, plastic drainage board equivalent to flat sand the wall withABAQUS to simulate the settlement project. A detailed analysis of these methods tosolve the settlement value and the measured value difference of the reasons. Specificactivities include the following:(1) shallow subsidence, hierarchical settlement observation data analysis of thesettlement with the time variation of lateral deformation, filling load height and theflapper on the final settlement.(2) using the hyperbolic method, Hoshino method, three-point method andtheoretical calculation layered summation on the final settlement value calculation,respectively, compared with the measured values to be more in line with the region’ssettlement correction factor.(3) the settlement project to simulate with ABAQUS results consistent with theactual values to prove the rationality of the simulation project.
