Study On The Landscape Planning And Design Of Song Du Water Project In The Kaifeng City

According to American mainstream magazine “Business Week”,“The basic unit ofthe future competition should be located in the city”, and “the success of a countrydepends on the success of cities.” The construction decides the success of the country,so how to conduct the urban area becomes an important topic for government.Thestructure of a city depends on the structure of economy. In the industrial era, cities needculture to rebuild its age. Tourist industry plays an important role in city development.The city traveling concept becomes clear in recent days. City development finds itsopportunity in the new tourism form in the industrial age. Make the city be a largescenic place which is leisure cultural platform, and attack tourists stay over nights, inorder to bring the economy of the city increasing.However, how to provide good protection to the historic and cultural landscape,while make progress on city development is quite a hard problem for those city builders.The water system planning in urban area is a hot topic in recent years. Most cities makeconstructions around water, since water is so important in maintaining healthy naturalecology and good living environment space. But the water system planning is acomprehensive problem which involves several fields. Water system has significanteffects on extending the city history, improving environment and expressing thespecialty of city. But the research of urban water system has never been deeply done.Especially, lack of combining both water system control and landscape design breakseither the organic and completeness of the system, or the functions of the system do notperform quite well. After all, it is necessary to integrally consider the system. This article mainly studies about if the long history and profound implication is theopportunity for the historical cities, or the bottle neck of the city development. It willestablish a design system for the Song Dynasty’s water view system of Kaifeng City.This includes how to protect and improve the Kaifeng urban water system, build its owncharacteristics and find ways to re-design the Song Dynasty water system from thenatural, historical and developing point of view. Use the combination of view designand landscapes ecological principle to build urban water view and city re-built. At thesame time, build an equitable form between ecological infrastructure planning andwater system security. The main purpose is to improve the urban water view of Kaifeng,resuscitate city built, model city characteristic, create special city traveling culture, andprovide theory basis and decision-making method for re-building live version of “QingMing Painting Scroll”.
