City Commercial Pedestrian mall is a unity,which Contains history,culture,commercial activities and walking activities, not only providing a business environment for the exchange of material,but also being a historical and cultural places,for people to walk,to exchange information,to recreate .Commercial pedestrian mall serves a commercial purpose,at the same time it is a urban space for person.Human behavior patterns of activity,visual experience, psychological feelings will be reflected in this space.In this article,discussing the development process of commercial pedestrian mall,pointing out the stage development of our commercial pedestrian mall.By studying the theory of outdoor space of commercial pedestrian mall,we can learn that the demand of environmental quality is creasing.Environmental sustainability of the competitive is now more showing at the context,humanities, the spirit of places competition.By studying the status of the relationship between the environment and facilities,we can learn the current problems at humanistic design for space facilities.By studying some theories in behavioral science,environmental perception,environmental cognition,psychology,combineing with the status of the studying on the humanistic design for outdoor space of commercial pedestrian mall,we can learn four problems and the development trend on it. By studying the types of outdoor space activities and characteristics of the outdoor space in pedestrian mall,we can also learn some psychological characteristics of few major types of activities.By studying outdoor space of Quan Chenglu Jinan Commercial Pedestrian Mall in characteristics of tourists by nature, useing characteristics of space and the evaluation of outdoor space,we learn the outdoor space environmental information of pedestrian mall,and then after the extraction and classification of information,We also learn the conclusion that the weight of analysis and psychological curve of tourist behavior.Finally,according to theory and practice research,we point out the humanistic design essential for outdoor space of commercial pedestrian mall in acts and psychological needs, space characteristics and street landscape.This study has important guiding significance in meeting the diverse needs of the people's request,designing and constructing competitive urban public space.
