With the car into the average family has become a reality, parkingproblem gradually emerged. the environment of residential area has destroyed, but alsothe residents has a huge security risk.At present, the old residential parking problems are just "stop-gap" interim ways,there is no systematic planning strategies and the fundamental response. Therefore,scientifically and systematically carried out on the old residential parking plan, caneffectively solve the parking problem. It will greatly improve the appearance of oldresidential environment.In this paper, Such as SiFang community of Qingdao, from a social background,economic environment, urban development point analyzed the parking problems.According to analyze the results of SiFang community, we will plan and design themethod of parking problems. And other old residential will solve the parking problemfrom the reference. The paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter presents the background and significance, scope and object ofstudy, and proposed the research methodology, framework and process of research. Andforeign and domestic research are described in detail.The second chapter basically introduces Parking-related aspects. Including thetype of parking lots (garages), composition, the comparison of different way ofresidential parking, the basic dimension of car parking spaces, and the relatedregulatory requirements.The third chapter presents parking factors of old community from macro and micro aspects. At the macro aspect, it described national policy, economic development,urban population growth and other aspects. At the micro aspect, it analyzed the demandfactors of residential parking. These factors have an impact on old residential parking.The fourth and the fifth chapters present the analysis and research of SiFangcommunity of Qingdao. According to analyze the results, it will form an improvementmethod and plan of parking problems of SiFang community.The sixth chapter expounded how to solve the problem of old residential parking,and other old residential can reference and learn from the parking problem in the future.
