Study On The Planning And Design Of Urban Residential Parking

In 90% of the time, the private car is not in running condition, but was parked somewhere. With the coming of car era, the city's parking problem is visiting too. As the gathering of private car long parking spots, residential parking problems are also becoming increasingly prominent. How to solve the residential parking problems, is the key to the sustainable development of urban parking, but also affecting people's livelihood and the focus of improve the quality of life. Therefore, from the view of economizing, intellectualized and humanized, the paper studies on the theories and methods in planning and design of urban residential parking, and discusses the solutions of urban residential parking problems. Hoping to provide some reference and theoretical basis for the development and construction of residential parking facilities.The paper first introduces the requirements of basic concepts and standards for urban residential parking, and separately studies from the view of economized and intellectualized, and based upon the practices of our country's residential parking planning proposes to establish a perfect residential planning system which is operating dynamically. Secondly, the paper put forward its principles and thoughts for the new residential districts, and researches the basis theory from the view of residential planning framework, estimation of parking requirement and parking layout. Thirdly, the paper makes a study of multifunction and landscape environment based upon the humanized ideas. At last the paper researches the ownership of parking spaces, parking charge, visitor parking and shared parking on the basis of studying on the residential parking management system. At the same time it gives the management recommendations and measures of the planning and design of urban residential parking,which is an important supplement.
