Pubic Transportation Information Service Quality Research Of Beijing

Travel congestion in recent years has been the normal traffic condition in Beijing.Beijing must take public transportation and give priority to the development ofsolutions focus by improving the ratio of bus travel to alleviate the crowded Beijingtrip pressure.But the bus system intelligent and the level of information is very low,cannot be based on the movement of the residents travel passenger, and then take theapproach of the regulation and management of intelligent information in real time,while the lack of residents of bus travel information library.Through a questionnaire to examine the needs of the Beijing public transit tripinformation, and questionnaire results were statistically analyzed by two aspects ofpeople’s basic properties and individual properties of different types of public transittrip information needs and access to public transport travel information preferences ofthe media to inspect and analyze the relationship between the media preferences andbus travel information needs.With the progress of statistical analysis, the factors which affected theinformation choice behavior of the passengers had been discussed. And then, the14kinds of travel information were categorized into4groups by factor analysis. The4groups were public transit timetable information, urban road traffic conditioninformation, urban oriented map information and entertainment information. At last,the Binary Logistic model of information choice behavior was proposed to analyzethe details of information choice behavior. The results indicated that there weredifferent information choice behaviors among transit passengers, according topersonal characteristics and information service features. The different contents ofinformation had a significant influence on the choice behavior of travel information,and the occupation of passengers had a significant influence on the choice hehavior ofinformation service media.The findings on the standardization of construction of the Beijing publictransport travel information service system has a certain reference value, todistinguish refined by the characteristics of the traveler, to build an effective andreasonable public transport travel information service system, to provide better publictransport trip to the Beijing Public Transportation travel information, can improve theallocation of resources of urban traffic, and thus enhance the level of Beijing’s publictransport system services.
