The Study On The Renewal Stratage Of Ur-ban Old Residential Community Based On The Idea Of Cultural Routes

With the Socialist construction rapid developing and the pace of urban moderniza-tion accelerating in our country,the national policy about social harmony and people’slivelihood has been regarded as the important issues that state and local government areconcerning about gradually.However,in the current urban construction level,the localgovernments blindly persuit the GDP growth,and put a large number of merterial re-sources,human resources,financial resources into the activity on large-scale demolitionand construction.It has brought into urban modernization,but ignoring the amount ofsocial contradiction and the missing of urban characteristic behind urban modernizationhidden,finally,resulted that the cities are during the tendancy of social capital and cul-ture capital being cutted down and merterial civilization and spiritual civilization beingin the inverse development.Finally,it seriously embarrasses the progress of urban civili-zation,which is contrary to scientific concept of development that advocates “to adherehuman-oriented,to establish comprehensive,coordinate,sustainable concept of develop-ment.Urban old residential communities,as the space vector that focus on social contra-dictions,and reflect urban characteristic,have been the focus of attention by city gov-ernment and urban planning gradually.The traditional old residential renewal,attached importance to the material spacerenewal of residential,ignoring these contents about social neighborhood rela-tion,community culture,community management and so on,therefore,it can’t resolve thisproblem about social trdiction and urban characteristic.With the development tendancyof Urban planning being risen up to the urban and country planning which is the firstlevel discipline,the discipline of the Housing and Community Development has beenregarded as the secondary discipline,the Residential renewal should be the Communityrenewal,and urban old residential community renewal should be regarded as the thefield of cross-over study on point-residential and surface-urban.Based on above back-ground,This article puts forward this proposition abou Urban old residential communityrenewal,and makes a in-depth research to a case of Urban old residential communitiesin Yuzhong district of Chongqing.This article summarizes the relevant theory and practice on Residential Renew-al,Community Renewal,Community Plannig,and deeply makes a surveys and question-naires forthe tipical urban old residential communities in Yuzhong district of Chongq- ing,then summarizes a number of problems.Based on that,this article introduces theconcept of Cultural Routes as a new type of Hesitage,learns from the idea of CultualRoutes,compositely,apllies to Urban Planning,Architecture,Heritage,Sociology, Typol-ogy,Management,and its like,explores the stratege of urban old residential communityrenewal on urban and community level,which is an attempt on the idea and method ofCommunity Renewal with geographical feature,under the new situation that currentlythe urban and social development transites.This article is consisted of seven chapters,including four parts:The first part(including ChapterⅠand ChapterⅡ) is theory study.It starts from thebackground of urban old residential community renewal,proposes study purpose andmeaning, according to analysising for related concept,defines study object and con-tent,proposes study method and frame,then combs related theory and practice of demsticand foreign,lays the foundation for exploring the mode of community renewal.The second part (Chapter Ⅲ), is to explore theories.It explains the concept of Cul-tural Routes,refines the idea for Cultural Routes,discourses the assumption logic of in-troducing ones,and then it proposes the method about applling to Urban Cultural Routesand Community Cutural Routes,finally,it presents the basic frame and step about urbanold residential community renewal Cultural Routes idea-oriented.The third part (Chapter Ⅳ), is to survey for present situation and to comb prob-lems.It makes a survey for present site of thirteen typical urban old residential commun-ities,and interviews for residents in those,then analysises the problems by classifica-tion,makes a summary,finally,judges the tendancy for urban old residential communityrenewal in Yuzhong District of Chongqing.The forth part(including ChapterⅤ,Chapter Ⅵ,and Chapter Ⅶ),is to make practiceresearch.It explores the macroscopic and microscopic strateges of urban old communityrenewal from urban level and community.At the macroscopic level,orienting Urban Cultual Routes,it combs and classifiesthe Urban Cultual Routes of Yuzhong District,and proposes four strategies from theperspective of protecting and repairing Urban Cultual Routes(including tour-ism,space,culture,management).at microscopic level,orienting Community CultualRoutes,it combines with the example of renewal and remediation for Jia Ling qiao xicun which the author participated,proposes community renewal strategies of micro-scopic level,makes a feedback for result of renewal and practice,summarizes the mainexperience and existed problems.Finally,the article summarizes the innovation and problems and makes propects.
