Our country is in the stage of accelerated urbanization process.Civil constructiondevelopment has entered the peak period.With the increasing energy consumption,thebuilding energy conservation is particularly important.The exterior wall as the largestproportion of the building envelopes,insulation technology of which is important anddecisive to achieve building energy saving.Research and development of newenergy-saving technologies and new environmental protection materials is importantmeasure to build a resource-saving,environment-friendly harmonious society andsustainable development.At the same time,building energy saving plays a role inpromoting on the construction of new rural areas.The paper is based on the background of villages and small towns in Qingdao.Bythe way of field investigation,questionnaires,instrument for measuring and so on,thestatus of the local residential in Qingdao countryside was realized.Also it does thecalculation and analysis for the situation of energy consumption.Then a newcast-in-place integrated thermal insulation wall has been come up. The structure is madeof walls and cast-in-situ insulation structure layer which is attached to the blank walls.the glazed hollow bead has been chosen as the insulation material—a kind of materialwhich is inorganic thermal insulation and lightweight. The thermal insulation wall hasdurability with the overall buildings synchronously, stability with no pollution and noteasy combustion, seamless continuous insulation, decorative types, convenientconstruction, low cost and other characteristics.The method is combined with the theoretical calculation and the using of wall heat transfer equipment test.Getting the coefficient of heat conductivity, themalresistance and a series of themal indexes. Insulating layer thickness values to meet thestandard of Shandong province of building energy saving in Qingdao region65%can befound about50mm.It can be set according to different thickness of insulation layer tomeet the different regions of the wall energy saving requirement. Also someexperimental and reference value will be provided for the insulation systems in-depththeoretical research and engineering practice.Heat transfer of building wall is a complex and unstable process.It uses the steadyheat transfer theory modeling and unsteady heat transfer theory modeling in numericalsimulation. The thermal insulation walls were simulated under the different conditionsof heat transfer process. The changes of internal and surface temperature in retainingstructure and the specific thermal indexs were obtained by ANSYS.The roomtemperature responses for thermal physical properties of wall were quantified.According to the calculated specific thermal index and the indicators of several othercommon insulation forms were analysed by list. Thus within a period of the future time,the cast-in-place integrated thermal insulation wall has application and popularizationvalue as a kind of new energy saving technology in Qingdao cold regions. Also, it willprovide some reference for energy conservation transformation in China.
